Week 2 and another week of smiles and sunshine!
This week, our Early Birds took part in Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy workshops, sensory play sessions – along with a ride on a Party Bus with a trip to Europa Park! They also did trips to Western beach, water play fun, gardening and soft play. The week also saw our little ones visit the City Fire Brigade along with a ride on the Cable Car and a morning of fun at the Alameda Gardens.
Our Mini buddies & Buddies had an awesome visit to the Gibraltar Defence Police Headquaters where they were invited to breakfast at the GDP club followed by having the opportunity to get up close and personal with different police dogs, police cars and equipment! The Mini Buddies and Buddies also visited Morrisons to support life skills and independent living, buying some ingredients and heading back to bake up some sweet treats and breakfast! They also took part in social circle activities, life skills sessions, sensory sessions, music, adapted fitness classes – and much more!
There were also trips to the beach and GASA lido for some water fun.
Our Focus group were out and about carrying out some more life skills and independent living tasks while creating social networks and integrating in community projects. The Focus group also took a trip on the Cable Car, to the Nuffield Pool and around town!
Week 2 is a wrap and we are all excited for Week 3 ahead of us.
